The Clubhouse Program
The Clubhouse Program is based on the universally utilized Clubhouse Model which involves the individual into the day to day work of the organization. Through participation in these productive activities, individuals focus on abilities and compensate for deficits. This structured setting allows for maximum success and the ability to transfer skills to the real world. The Clubhouse’s greatest unique quality is that it is mutually beneficial and self-perpetuating for both the individual and the organization. As the individual learns through the daily operations, the organization as a business is continued. As the individual thrives, so does the organization which then allows it to expand and assists others and so the cycle continues.

Caregiver Family Support Group
Our support groups meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month (except March and November) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This group is for family members and caregivers to come together to share stories and support. This group is open to any caregivers. Participants do not need to have a family member attending the Clubhouse Program.
Caregiver Boot Camps
Caregiver Boot Camps are offered twice a year - March and November. These half day programs offer our families techniques about how to best care for themselves as caregivers, an opportunity to connect with other caregivers and introduction to community resources.
Family Meet-Ups are organized by Synapse House where those with a brain injury or stroke can join their families, children and friends in a fun and social recreational activity. These events are open to anyone. You do not need to be a member of the Clubhouse to join.
